Prevention of Perinatal Group B Streptococcus Disease: A Self-Paced Learning Module
This course is intended to assist
perinatal health care providers to decrease the incidence of Neonatal Group B Streptococcus Disease and using intrapartum prophylaxis based on universal GBS screening, and through the rapid assessment of current GBS prophylaxis practices,
development of evidence-based best practices and the enabling of rapid,
multidisciplinary improvement cycles. The course requires the
participant to:
• Study the slide presentation;
• Read the Prevention of Perinatal Group B Streptococcus DiseaseToolkit; and
• Complete and return the post-test, course evaluation and reporting forms.
The
course is presented using presentation slides, a written toolkit and
supplemental materials. Upon successful completion of this module,
the participant may earn 2 CMEs/4 CEUs. Components of the self-paced
