Amy Johnson

After almost two decades as a NICU nurse, with years of expanded roles (Charge, ECMO, Advanced Life Support, Transport), I left the NICU for several years as the Program Nurse for the California Newborn Hearing Screening program, which developed my database, analysis and reporting abilities. I returned to the NICU arena as a Clinical Data Coordinator in 2006, which combines my clinical and data skills. Since then, my job expanded to include OB data/quality measures, and a 2nd NICU. I enjoy the challenges immensely – I think I won the job lottery!
