Dianne (Dini) Baker

Dini Baker became a passionate advocate for HRIF after spending several years in the NICU as a clinical nurse, then case manager. The Early Developmental Assessment Center was founded through her efforts, collaborating with key NICUs in the region, to ensure follow up of this vulnerable population. As part of an effort to improve services available to young children, funded by First Five California, she participated in county wide clinical outcomes measurement, and quality improvement for the Neurodevelopmental programs. The knowledge she gained from studying the infants and their service needs was recognized by her appointment to the executive committee. Her research interests are focused on improving quality of care for infants and their parents, and understanding attrition from medical appointments.
