Dr. Ritu Chitkara received her MD from University of California San Diego School of Medicine and completed both her Pediatric Residency and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine training at Stanford. She is now an attending neonatologist at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford. In addition, she is a consultant for the Fetal & Pregnancy Health Program at Stanford as well as a Wellbeing Champion for the Division of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at Stanford. Her research is focused on neonatal resuscitation and using simulation to improve outcomes in the delivery room. She is working to establish a Teleneonatology program at Stanford to help assist community hospitals in neonatal resuscitation.
