Perinatal Programs

The Perinatal Programs allow for an integrated approach to improving the quality of care to California’s mothers and our most vulnerable infants.  One of our goals is to develop a data linkage between the records of moms to babies to acute transports to NICU admits to high-risk infant follow-up that will allow our quality improvement efforts to research perinatal outcomes and apply evidence-based practices to clinical outreach and community interventions.

The CPQCC/CMQCC Collaborative Research Program provides opportunities for clinical, epidemiologic, and translational research using both quantitative and qualitative methods, and studies in implementation and dissemination.  There are also expanding opportunities for CPQCC data linkage to maternal, transport, and follow-up clinic data.
