The Regional Perinatal Programs of California (RPPC) promotes comprehensive, cooperative networks of public and private health care providers within geographic areas. Our goal is to promote the appropriate type and levels of care by developing a multi-tiered network of care providers and facilities to ensure the well-being of pregnant women and their babies. The regional perinatal programs staff provide resources, consultation, and technical assistance to hospitals and health care providers,. The areas served by our RPPC program are: the North Coastal, East Bay and Mid-Coastal regions. This includes the following counties and perinatal facilities: Alameda, City of Berkley, Contra Costa, Del Norte, Humboldt, Lake, Marin, Mendocino, Monterey, Napa, San Benito, San Francisco, San Luis Obispo, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, and Sonoma counties. Funding is provided by Federal Title V MCH Block Grant.
