Charlette Flanders joined CPQCC as a  Program Manager in February 2024. Charlette graduated from Colorado School of Public Health, University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, with a Master of Public Health, Community Health Education in May 2020. She has exposure collaborating with stakeholders at the local, national, and international level in her previous roles at the University of California Health, Cancer Consortium and California Work and Family Coalition. She is a bilingual communicator with abilities in English and Tagalog. Charlette has experience as an advocate around maternal health needs and paid leave policies and co-authored a 22-page resource synthesizing paid leave laws and related policies. She has conducted qualitative interviews as part of a focused approach around social determinants of health and has a passion around health disparities. She also co-developed training for fifteen community health educators with the Los Angeles Department of Public Health and the Maternal Infant Mortality Community Action Team. Charlette brings her maternal health expertise and community partnership insight to her role as the project manager for CPQCC’s Health Related Social Needs QI Collaborative.  Charlette is a key leader as the co-lead of our PQIP subcommittees and plays a vital role in building connections with existing and new CPQCC & CMQCC stakeholders and community partners.
