CPQCC’s third annual Improvement Palooza ("IP2022") was designed to help teams center NICU families as vital partners in their infant’s care. Attendees learned how family-centered care (FCC) leads to better NICU outcomes and improved patient and family experiences. Held in conjunction with the 2022 CAN Cool Topics in Neonatology Meeting, CPQCC’s Improvement Palooza 2022 was an incrediblee event that helped NICU teams empower parents as critical members of the NICU team.

The family panel session includes NICU parents from across the nation. Panelists will share their personal experiences in the NICU and highlight key strategies to empower parents as critical members of the NICU team. Attendees will take away useful approaches to partnering with NICU families. The panel will be held from 8:45 am-10:00 am. We encourage NICUs to invite their NICU families to attend IP2022. Families will get the opportunity to hear firsthand from other NICU parents about the crucial role of family-centered care in the NICU and the importance of the parent voice. CPQCC will cover the registration fees for the first 25 families* that are registered. Please contact Courtney Breault directly to register your NICU family.
*Limit one free family registration per NICU.
