Tanya has been working in the Neonatal Intensive Care since 2008, and since 2015 has been the Neonatal Outreach Educator at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital, San Francisco. Her role as neonatal outreach educator includes providing classes, high-fidelity simulations & resources to 18 contract hospitals throughout California. Tanya is certified RNC-NIC in high-risk neonatal nursing & in care of the extremely low birthweight infant. Tanya’s passions include addressing social justice issues in the NICU, and helping empower bedside nurses in leadership and education roles.
